DAYS Spoilers
It’s a day of sorrow and tears as Abigail Deveraux DiMera’s (Marci Miller) loved ones prepare to say their goodbyes one last time. They’ll don their dark suits and gather together for a tearful funeral.
Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) takes a moment to himself to grieve his precious wife and shares a moment with his brother, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) before welcoming visitors. Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) and Will Horton (Chandler Massey) show up for their bestie and plan to stick close to his side.
Over at the Salem Inn, Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) checks on her messy, messy son. Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) is still beside himself and wondering what he did when he was black-out drunk.
Of course, Kate won’t say anything to anyone, even after running into Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford). She’ll keep on keeping on as she faces the sad dad while he is comforted by Kayla Brady Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) and Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) at the pub. It’s a facade she may regret putting on.

Days of our Lives History
DAYS made its debut in 1965 and is one of the longest-running daytime soap operas in American history. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in and wanting more. It was developed as a half-hour soap opera for NBC by prolific soap scribe Irna Phillips along with her longtime director, Ted Corday, and Allan Chase. Corday’s son, Ken Corday, continues the family tradition by serving as executive producer.
From Sami Brady’s (Alison Sweeney) crazy schemes to Victor Kiriakis’s (John Aniston) one-liners to the epic love story of John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), DAYS knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more. Fans love their daytime soap operas and the excitement in Salem is non-stop.
