The DAYS spoilers for Thursday, September 9, 2021, tease a bromance deepening, a jealous girlfriend attempting to stave off her love rival, a scheme to oust a boss busted, and an out of the blue marriage request.
Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) is in quite the pickle, what with his heart belonging to two different women, and all. So, is it any wonder that he turns to Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) – who knows a thing or two about complicated romantic relationships?
Opposite that male bonding, is a little catty behavior. Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) – lady love numero uno – confronts lady love two, Nicole Walker Brady (Arianne Zucker), and tells her all about Rafe’s not so unconscious feelings for her. Gasp, says Nicole; Rafe actually “likes” likes me? Who knew? Besides a seriously put-out Ava, of course.
Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) share a warm moment…and the former attempts to use it to sway Chloe into bunking at his place. Not in a sexual way, mind you – Brady would hate that. And besides, they’d be sharing it with that sweet little Rachel, who never seems to actually be in anyone’s care. (Who watched her during Brady’s sojourn to New York?)
And while Chloe thinks long and hard about the offer – and how it may impact her (let’s be frank) practically nonexistent relationship with Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) – the embittered businessman in question busies himself with castigating underling Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) for her duplicity. But let’s face it, will that really curb Gabi’s quest for the throne of Titan?
Did Abe Carver (James Reynolds) hear Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) clearly? Is she REALLY proposing that they get married?! Surely she jests! But it doesn’t appear that she does…it appears that she’s very, very serious. How will Abe feel about that?
In case you missed it, there were some incredible performances last week on Days of our Lives, and Soap Hub had a hard time choosing exactly who should be awarded Performer of the Week honors. Find out which actor made the cut and why by clicking here.
