The DAYS spoilers for Friday, September 24, 2021, tease a dose of reality, good news traveling fast, and a plea to let the past remain there. You won’t want to miss this all-new episode.
Despite their best efforts to continue enjoying their New Orleans-set honeymoon, Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) can no longer ignore the elephant in the room – namely, the latter’s insistence on having a baby as soon as humanly possibly.
After making her point painfully clear, Ciara is put out by Ben’s obvious revulsion to the idea. When pressed, he admits that he’s fearful the baby will inherit his propensity for violence – keeping in mind that he strangled two women to death and shot another. Whether or not Ciara will take her husband’s concerns into consideration – or continue to be a Selfish Sally – remain to be seen.
He’s already shared the good news with his former SPD partner John Black (Drake Hogestyn) – though when they worked together, John was, confoundingly, thought to be Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) – but Abe Carver (James) wants others to know that he will one day, possibly sometime in the near future, be proposing marriage to Paulina Price (Jackée Harry).
When he chances upon the Johnsons – Steve (Stephen Nichols) and his good lady wife, Dr. Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans), Abe fills them in on his plan. Here’s hoping he doesn’t want either Johnson to serve in his wedding party — if the Kiriakis wedding is anything to go by, they’re jinxes.
Though he’s got a fight ahead of him, John decides that he’s going to do everything in his power to make sure that Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) fails to realize his dream of bringing The Sami Brady Story to a theatre near him. In other news, ALERT THE PRESSES: John and EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) agree on something.
