The DAYS spoilers for Monday, September 20, 2021, tease a number of (not so) closely guarded family secrets coming to light, a past relationship remembered, and more. You won’t want to miss this all-new episode.
Not only is The Sami Brady Story chalk full of salacious details concerning it’s title character, but it also fails to paint either John Black (Drake Hogestyn) or Marlena Evans Black (Deidre Hall) in a sympathetic light.
In fact, it’s their unchecked lust that results in Sami Brady morphing into the hellion she’s known for being in the present day – and Marlena’s act of adultery – which results in the birth of Belle Black Brady (Martha Madison) – and the disintegration of her marriage to Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) primes her for being the vessel of Lucifer, the Prince of Darkness…a fact that Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) have a hard time wrapping their heads around.
It’s also a bit too much for John to reckon with, which is why his and Abe Carver’s (James Reynolds) hang sesh devolves into a rumination on the horror show that was 1994 and 1995.
Though she managed to keep up appearances thus far, a distraught Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) finally allows the façade to crack during private confabs with Kayla Brady Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) and Eli Grant (Lamon Archey). Besides, isn’t that what family and close friends are for?
Roman (Josh Taylor) and Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) reminisce about their past – though, the less said about their blood-soaked attempt at marriage, and her affair with John, the better. As their walk down Memory Lane concludes, look for Roman to surprise Kate by wondering aloud if she’d ever considered giving their romance another shot…she wasn’t too interested the last time the subject was broached, but that was a year or two ago.
