The DAYS spoilers for Friday, September 2, 2022, tease a horrifying discovery, a stern talking to, and a (probable) frame job. You won’t want to miss a minute of this brand-new, déjà vu inducing episode.
This scene feels a bit familiar. Sorta like we’ve been there, seen that. See if this jogs a memory: Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) walks into a room and finds someone he loves brutally stabbed. The subtle differences: the stabee is most decidedly not Chad’s wife, Abigail Deveraux DiMera (Marci Miller) — it’s his best friend, Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) — and the injury is to the victim’s back and not their front.

In a perfect world, Sonny emerges with nary a serious scratch — but this is Salem. Look for his loved ones — Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth), Neil Alexander Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson), and yes, even Bonnie Lockhart Kiriakis (Judi Evans) — to receive some less than pleasant news in regard to Sonny’s condition. If they’re smart, they will page Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton).
Look for Chloe “I Have Absolutely No Room To Talk” Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) to take it upon herself to sit with Nicole Walker Hernandez (Arianne Zucker) and warn that her obvious lusting over Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) every time he’s in her vicinity is going to get her in some serious trouble.
Things are not going quite the way that Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) had thought they might. One minute he’s celebrating his springing from the Salem Police Department holding cells and rubbing it — no, not that, his freedom, you dirty-minded so and so — in Sonny’s face, and the next, he’s on the hook for shanking his former mister; as if he’d ever do anything to hurt Jackson physically; emotionally cripple him, maybe, but not grievous bodily harm.
