The DAYS spoilers for Wednesday, October 6, 2021, tease a woman on a mission, a scheme team solidifying their plans, and more. You won’t want to miss a minute of this all-new episode.
It’s not every woman who’d dress up like a hooker, make nice with a corrupt judge, then turn right around and blackmail him into getting her boyfriend out of jail, but then Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) is no ordinary woman….she’s a liar, a thief, a murderer, and a few other less than savory adjectives. She’s also a woman in love – possibly for the first time ever; plus, we’ve seen Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) shirtless, so we totally get her desire to see him freed.
Speaking of Xander, have no fear that he’ll just sit idly by and let his lady do all that dirty work alone. Look for him to rope easily-led Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) into helping Gwen pull off her audacious plan.
It’s been many moons since Maggie Horton Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) graced Salem with her presence. This week, the much-beloved character is back…but she comes bearing a tragic update: Summer Townsend (Marie Wilson) is dead; how will Summer’s former bestie, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), react to the news?
If there’s one thing that Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) can’t forgive, it’s betrayal. Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that there isn’t a person in his orbit, especially of the female persuasion, that hasn’t betrayed him at some point in his life. The poor guy really is one of life’s many losers.
So, color Philip shocked to realize that Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun), his one-time tormentor, is actually keeping her word to provide him with damning information on Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash). Could this be the beginning of a beautiful friendship?
