The DAYS spoilers for Thursday, November 18, 2021, tease nuptials interrupted, the debate over whether or not to help sue one’s own parent, and a daring escape attempt. You won’t want to miss a minute of this brand-new, recrimination and action-filled episode.
Boy, does Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) know how to make an entrance, or does she know how to make an entrance? Not only did she bring Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) and Abe Carver’s (James Reynolds) wedding to a screeching halt, but she also upended Lani Grant’s (Sal Stowers) entire existence with the news that they share a mother…and Chanel certainly wasn’t birthed by Tamara!
And whilst Lani tries to piece her shattered history back together, Belle Brady (Martha Madison) debates going against her mother by representing Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) in her bid to gain access to Doug Williams (Bill Hayes).
On the one hand, Marlena Evans Black (Deidre Hall) hasn’t been quite herself as of late, and her keeping Julie away from the love of her life does seem a bit cruel. On the other, Marlena is a psychiatrist with a sterling professional reputation – if she thinks Doug poses an imminent threat to Julie, shouldn’t she be taken at her word?
And why, oh why did all this tension have to develop so close to Thanksgiving? The only thing that Julie should be worried about is how big a turkey to prepare for the Horton family feast – not whether or not she’ll ever see her beloved husband again.
Opposite all this family drama, look for John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) to pool their resources in an attempt to escape the (massively oversized) DiMera crypt. Here’s hoping that Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) is still desperately hunting down his BFF.
