While Allie Horton’s (Lindsay Arnold) loved ones deal with the aftermath of her successful exorcism, a fair number of other characters mourn the loss of one of their own. And this is a death that will pain the audience as well – but take heart.
If there’s one thing that is known to be true, it’s that nobody ever really stays dead on this soap…except for ones who were played actors who passed during production. DAYS at least has the decency not to recast and resurrect the likes of Tom and Alice Horton or Stefano DiMera. Thank goodness for small mercies?

Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) is back in town — but he’s sans Samantha Gene Brady (Alison Sweeney). Suspicious? Very.

And Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) just isn’t having it. She wants answers, and she wants them now, and Lucas had better cough up the truth or Kate might go and do something drastic — like tell EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) that it was really Lucas who kidnapped Sami and framed him for the crime.
DOOL Spoilers: Face To Face
University Hospital is the kind of place where you could meet just about anybody, so when spoilers say that Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) are about to encounter someone wholly unexpected, they really mean it. The only question is, is this person friend or foe? Let’s not forget, that the last person who came a-calling was a scalpel wielding Evan Frears (Brock Kelly). But if this week’s promo is any indication, this could be an incredibly exciting moment.
