The DAYS spoilers for Monday, May 16, 2022, tease the culmination of a storyline that has more than worn out its welcome. You won’t want to miss a minute of this much anticipated, much talked about, much prayed for brand-new episode.
The battle between good and evil comes to a stunning conclusion, and it begins with a possessed Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) poised to take over the soul of baby Bo Weston being confronted by her nearest and dearest…and the seriously pissed off parents of her prey!
After a hard-won battle with DevAllie, made possible by a smidge of divine intervention — should all thanks go to Gabriel (Mark Colson)? — Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) rejoice in finally being able to hold their son in their arms.
And while the parents bask in the victory, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) chase a defeated, but not yet beaten “Allie.”
The pair corner Satan’s vessel in the loft of Saint Luke’s — a fitting location given MarDevil’s past as the church’s desecrater — and attempt to reach out to the young woman trapped within. Will their efforts be rewarded?
Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) and Belle Black Brady (Martha Madison) have certainly been through the wringer as of late, and who would have ever guessed that it would take something as crazy as her niece being revealed as a possessee to finally bring the couple back together?
And sure, there’s still the little matter of Jan Spears (Heather Lindell), the pregnant common loon, occupying one of their spare bedrooms, but that’s something that ‘Shelle’ can deal with another day. Let’s focus on the positives. Like Shawn’s sister reclaiming the child that Old Scratch stole.
