The DAYS spoilers for Monday, June 13, 2022, tease the trickling of bad news like sands through and hourglass. You won’t want to miss a minute of this all-new episode.
Word of Abigail Deveraux DiMera’s (Marci Miller) death – make that gory stabbing murder – disseminates throughout Salem, and rock her nearest and dearest to the core. Of the most affected is the victim’s husband, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn), who first stumbled upon the body.
Now comes the most important question: who amongst the town folk could have committed such a horrific act? It’s not as though Abigail was particularly disliked, though she did give several people reason — looking at you Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) and Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney).
Perhaps the first order of business for the Salem Police Department should be to check the security cameras at Statesville to see whether one Ms. Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) was indeed inside the prison like she should be.
Despite the blood and gore inside DiMera House – or maybe because of it – we don’t know how sick these two truly are – things continue to heat up between EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) and Belle Black Brady (Martha Madison). Maybe now that Abigail is dead and gone, Belle’s decided that she must take her place her as the local blonde-haired marriage wrecker. What? Too soon to be speaking ill of the dead?
Opposite this, despite assuring the obviously lovestruck twins that she’s not at all ready to decide between them, Chanel Dupree’s (Raven Bowens) actions make it awfully clear that she’s leaning towards Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold). So, by the rules of soap opera, don’t be too surprised if Chanel suddenly shows up in scene remarried to Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman).
Though he may in fact be only one of two doctors practicing at University Hospital, Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) isn’t much interested in staying put and watching the woman he loves throw herself at another woman. Funny that. Look for Tripp to make a big decision about his future…one that that’s going to take him far afield from the place that he calls home.
