DAYS Spoilers for January 5: Rex Brady Has Bad News For His Mother

DAYS spoilers for Thursday, January 5, 2023, bring Dr. Rex Brady front and center, but not for any kind of celebration. He has news for Kate Roberts Brady, and it is sure to break both their hearts.

Rex (Kyle Lowder) has been working overtime to keep his mother in good health and on the road to recovery, but his mission simply isn’t working. Kate (Lauren Koslow) isn’t getting any better. In fact, she’s getting worse. So much so, he finally breaks down and gives her the terrible news.

How bad is Kate’s condition? Is she nearing the end if they don’t get another dose of the antidote? The last thing Rex would ever do is scare his mother on purpose, so surely the situation is dire. The race to save Kate needs to kick into high gear before it’s too late.

DOOL Spoilers: The Fight For Life

Will Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) get what’s needed to bring Kate around, as well as ensure Kayla Brady Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) and Marlena Evans Black (Deidre Hall) stay well? He’s going to try! He plays hardball with Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) in an attempt to push her to her limits and give up the secrets of the Orchid. Brady simply can not let her have the upper hand, especially right now.

As much as Brady is trying, the kidnapping plan is hitting a snag. Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) is growing quite tired of this little favor she’s doing for Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan). These two are new lovers and barely friends, and here she is babysitting a child she doesn’t really know. Can Eric convince her to keep up the good work until his little job is done?

Days of our Lives Spoilers: A Bit Of Downtime

Meanwhile, John Black (Drake Hogestyn) sets up a day of rest, relaxation, and even a touch of romance for his wife. The pair enjoy their staycation and take time to touch base and bask in their love for each other. They better enjoy this while it lasts because all good things must come to an end. Before they know it, there will be chaos.
