Abigail Deveraux DiMera (Marci Miller) has good news for Xander Cook (Paul Telfer): she’s discovered a lead regarding Sarah Horton’s (Linsey Godfrey) disappearance. But what kind of lead? And is it a viable avenue to explore or a smokescreen conjured up by Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) in order to throw the sleuthsome twosome off the proper track?
And speaking of Gwen…she becomes privy to a big ole secret being kept by her partner-in-crime, Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun)…but what could Ava have done that she hasn’t already confided?
Gwen knows all about Ava’s teddy bear massacre, and Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) already knows that Ava tried to oust Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) from her own company; not to mention Ava’s pseudo partnership with Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson). Just what does Ava have to get off her chest?
Despite laying out the multitude of reasons that she couldn’t defend him – conflict of interest, a personal fear that he was actually guilty of the crime of which he stands accused – to EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feuerriegel) side Belle Black Brady (Martha Madison) flies.
As if EJ didn’t have an inflated sense of self already, how special he must feel to have the sister of the woman he supposedly kidnapped represent him.
Having landed in Italy, Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla Brady Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) set about going undercover in order to flush out that mean, mean, mean Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk)…but have they rumbled the villainess’s true location? Or has Kristen led the two on the wildest of goose chases?
