A distraught Chanel Dupree DiMera (Raven Bowens) finds comfort in Allie Horton’s (Lindsay Arnold) arms…and her bed. Well, the two of them have been circling each other for quite some time, and the former did just get dumped by her husband of a few minutes — what else were they supposed to do?

Opposite the above lovemaking, Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) suitably recovers from her near-death experience – brought about by the callous way in which Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) dumped her beloved baby girl.

Bonus: Her knocking on the pearly gates precipitates a slight thaw in her entirely strained relationship with firstborn Lani Price Grant (Sal Stowers). After all, Lani only wanted Paulina to go far, far away – not cease to exist.

Days of our Lives Spoilers: Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea

EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) is in major trouble, and he’s not going to be able to sweet talk, flirt, or bribe his way out of it. So, he does the next best thing, and politely asks defender of the people, Belle Black Brady (Martha Madison), to represent him in his upcoming trial.

Knowing Belle, she’ll probably agree to do so…despite the conflict of interest that is EJ being accused of kidnapping her own sister. Then again, Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) once absconded with baby Tink and attempted to sell her on the black market — turn about is fair play, after all.

The spouses Weston have a major decision to make where their impending bundle of joy is concerned, though the what and the why remain to be seen.
