DAYS spoilers for Monday, December 26, 2022, promise a rough day for Sonny Kiriakis as Victor Kiriakis gets loud about his life choices. Also in the spotlight is Xander Cook as his schemes fall apart. Meanwhile, Alex Kiriakis shows Steffy Johnson the spirit of Christmas. This is a holiday episode — but it’s also the last appearance of the late John Aniston as Victor Kiriakis — a tribute will most likely air at the end of the episode and you will not want to miss it.
Sonny (Zach Tinker) is getting a little too close to Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart), and Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) is taking notice. A lot of notice. So much so, he has it out with his grandson about the scheming schemer. He isn’t going to sit idly by while this grifter ruins Sonny’s life again!
Sonny can claim Leo has changed all he wants and try to see the best in him, but Victor isn’t having it. He doesn’t want that scammer in his house, his company, or his family’s life. Grandpa knows best, and Sonny better listen up!
Meanwhile, Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) works overtime to help out her good buddy and pal (and crush) Xander (Paul Telfer). She has a plan to get him out of his jam and uses all her resources to make it happen. Unfortunately, things aren’t going to go the way the non-couple wants it all to go.

As if that’s not enough, a random sighting of a random clown sends Bonnie Lockhart Kiriakis (Judi Evans) into a spiral, and she says something to Sarah Horton Cook (Linsey Godfrey) that has the doc second-guessing things. Will she realize he husband is a lying liar who lies? Sarah’s had her suspicions for some time now, and this incident has things adding up a little too well for her liking.
All the while, Stephanie (Abigail Klein) cozies up to Alexander (Robert Scott Wilson) this holiday season. The pair celebrate Christmas together, and it’s nothing but good tidings and cheer. This is a holiday full of love, giving, and Christmas magic. Will the spirit of Santa bring them even closer together?
