Though Jake DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) insistence on being dead puts a slight hitch in Dr. Wilhelm Rolf’s (Richard Wharton) plan, he’s still got a trick or two up his diabolical sleeve.

It’s probably no secret that of all of Stefano DiMera’s offspring — at least the ones we’ve actually seen — Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) is Rolf’s favorite, so it probably won’t surprise when it is she whom Rolf confides his pet project. But will Kristen approve?
DOOL Spoilers: Paternity Pickle
Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) is in quite a state. He’s determined to hold on to Shawn Christian, and Christian Maddox, AKA Evan Frears (Brock Kelly), is just as determined to claim his natural son. With nowhere else to turn, look for Shawn to turn to Belle Black Brady (Martha Madison). As is her wont, Belle will prove completely unreliable. Why Shawn puts any faith in such a faithless mate is beyond us.

Meanwhile, despite feeling like he’s the victor, Evan is soon to learn that he’s made a big, big mistake in contradicting Jan Spears’s (Heather Lindell) wishes. See, she wanted her baby to be cared for by Shawn, and what Jan wants, Jan tends to get…even if she is supposedly buried at sea. But a mother’s got to do what a mother has got to do.
Days of our Lives Spoilers: Grave Matters
EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) wasn’t born yesterday, so he’s not going to take Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) at her word. She can swear blind all she likes that she and Jake exchanged vows before he met the business end of a gun, but EJ wants proof, easily verifiable proof. And a witness or two wouldn’t hurt either.
