Abe (James Reynolds) is not a quitter. And Paulina (Jackée Harry) will never let him be one. Just because the Deputy Mayor accused her of crimes she actually committed is no reason for her to stop. Paulina has convinced Abe to pretend that he doesn’t have amnesia in order to help her daughter get her business re-opened.

And when the Deputy Mayor pushed back, Paulina pushed harder. She is going to get her precious baby what Chanel (Raven Bowens) wants, even if she has to ruin Abe’s career and his health. It’s the least she can do. Paulina has a new plan — Abe is going to love it!

DOOL Spoilers: Man Overboard

Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) defended Xander (Paul Tefler) to Nicole (Arianne Zucker). And she defended him to Brady (Eric Marstolf). But now comes the tough part — defending Xander to herself. Neither Nicole nor Brady said anything about Xander that wasn’t true. Chloe has just been repressing reality. But you can only do that for so long. It’s time for Chloe to take a good, long look at the man who’s asked her to marry him. The one she hasn’t said no to…yet.

Kate (Lauren Koslow) has been keeping the secret of stashing Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) in a mental hospital, hoping there would be a day when Philip was well enough to return to Salem. With news of Victor’s (John Aniston) death, Kate now realizes she is the sole parent responsible for Philip’s welfare. Will she be able to take care of him alone? Will she be able to afford it? Or the lawyer he’ll need as soon as he resurfaces?

Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) also learn of Victor’s death. It hits them hard, as Victor is the reason they’re together. If he hadn’t hired Steve to sell drugs for him, he would have never crossed paths with the Bradys. And where would everyone be now?
