Days of our Lives spoilers for Friday, August 28, 2020, reveal Eduardo’s mistake costing his children dearly. The family is forced to go on the run without any idea of whether or not they can ever come back home again. Get your tissues ready for these heartbreaking goodbyes.
It’s an unbelievable day for Gabi (Camila Banus) when she gets the lowdown on her father’s dangerous situation. Her life is on the line because of Eddie’s (A Martinez) terrible decisions and the longer she sticks around, the more danger Ari finds herself in, as well. Can she really pick up and leave, though? Abandoning the life she has and the people she loves was something she swore she would never do.
Nevertheless, that’s what needs to be done and Gabi has no choice but to follow orders. She and Rafe (Galen Gering) pack up their essentials, grab their bags, and hightail it out of town with Eddie leading the way.
Meanwhile, Gwen (Emily O’Brien) lays into Jake (Brandon Barash) when she discovers what he’s been doing behind her back. It was one thing for her to fake a romance with Chad (Billy Flynn), it’s another for him to actually go to bed with another woman. The audacity!
Is this the end of their romance? Jake and Gwen seem to have a long history of hurting each other and taking low shots. It seems doubtful this will be the straw that breaks the camel’s back. But, as we know, anything can happen in Salem.
Speaking of showdowns, the ultimate face-off is coming. Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) and Eve (Kassie DePaiva) see each other for the first time since the torture chamber. To say each of them explodes is an understatement.
Eve is still raw from seeing Paige’s apparition and of course, Ben is still beside himself after the scenes at the dorm. Each of their pain runs deep and neither is anywhere close to being forgiving to say the least. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
