Days of our Lives spoilers for April 27-May 1, 2020, reveal secrets coming to light, a lie told, tender moments, ghost sightings, and so much more!
When subjected to a barrage of questions from Brady (Eric Martsolf), Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) confesses that it was she who stabbed Victor (John Aniston). Rather than pass moral judgment on his lover, Brady resolves to hide her involvement.
To that end, he makes his way to the Kiriakis estate and skillfully maneuvers past the bevy of police officers. He gains entrance into the mansion’s living room, locates the letter opener, and is immediately caught by Eli (Lamon Archey) and Lani (Sal Stowers).
When his excuses for being at the crime scene don’t hold water, Brady is taken to the police station… where he confesses to being Victor’s assailant! However, his valiant efforts may all be for naught…
Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) visits Steve (Stephen Nichols) and shares a troubling development: his eye is totally beyond repair and he will have to don his patch once again.
The exes share a tender moment as Kayla inspects Steve’s wound and helps him put the item in place, but Steve spoils it in a vain attempt to keep his “dangerous” self away from his “Sweetness.”
When Hope (Kristian Alfonso) interrupts the two, Kayla quickly deduces that she is there to collect Steve and she also learns that Steve is moving into Hope’s abode. It’s a development that does not sit well with the already-frustrated physician.
Abigail (Kate Mansi) suffers through a terrifying experience that she and Chad (Billy Flynn) discover is the direct result of her being drugged. Chad confronts Gabi (Camila Banus) and accuses her of orchestrating the trouble… but the Widow DiMera has far more pressing business to attend to.
She’s been on edge ever since seeing Stefan’s reflection in that store window and she confides her troubles to Will (Chandler Massey). He offers her words of encouragement and for a brief moment, she finds peace. However, nothing can prepare her for the shock of seeing “Stefan” (Brandon Barash) in the flesh.
In other Salem news, Hope apologizes to John (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena (Deidre Hall) for her actions as Gina. Also, Justin (Wally Kurth) gives Rafe (Galen Gering) disheartening news concerning his plan to adopt David.
Meanwhile, Ciara (Victoria Konefal) holds vigil next to Victor in the hospital and later delights in Ben’s (Robert Scott Wilson) news concerning his new job. Though buoyed by his success, Ben still worries over the strong resemblance between his new boss and the deceased Stefan.
Finally, Evan (Brock Kelly) tells Zoey (Kelly Thiebaud) a secret, John acquiesces to Orpheus’s (George DelHoyo) demand, and Sarah’s (Linsey Godfrey) plan to remain in Paris hits a major snag when she comes face to face with her former fiancé, Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder).
