The Days of Our Lives recap for Wednesday, September 19 features Gabi stepping up her gaslighting plan against Abigail.
Plot Thickens
Gabi (Camila Banus) was not happy to hear Chad (Billy Flynn) planning a picnic with Abigail (Marci Miller) over the phone. She tried to poison Chad’s mind against Abby and then made up a story to borrow his key to the Horton House.
Determined to take her plan to the next level, Gabi made a phone call to Kayla asking for sleeping pills. However, she did make sure they were safe for pregnancy.
On Alert
JJ (Casey Moss) told Abby to be patient with Chad. She caught him up on Gabi’s latest antics. He asked if she believed Gabi’s apology and Abby said she wants to but will keep her eye on her.
After Abby went to load the car, Gabi snuck in and spiked Abigail’s drink. Later, Chad was stuck waiting for Abby, who fell asleep on the couch as Gabi watched.
Standing By Her Man
Sheila (Tionne “T Boz” Watkins) asked Bonnie (Judi Evans) if the baby really belongs to Lucas just as a protective Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) entered.

Chloe told Bonnie she wouldn’t let her use a baby to hurt Lucas again, but Bonnie seemed confident she’d be proven right. Chloe met Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) at the hospital as Kayla announced she had the results.
Sheila and baby Bonnie ran into Eli (Lamon Archey) and they caught up. He told her his baby died and asked to hold Bonnie. Sheila admitted she’s having a hard time getting a job and he offered to be a reference.
Sheila hit Bonnie up for babysitting money but Bonnie’s broke. At the Pub, Sheila thought she would get Abe, who was eating nearby, to pay for her meal but he caught her.
Blast From The Past
Earlier, Lani (Sal Stowers) had breakfast with a concerned Abe (James Reynolds). She told him about the moments she’s had with Eli. She wasn’t sure if they were making more of their grief than they should. He wondered if she was overthinking things. Later, Lani asked Eli to meet with her.
