The Days of our Lives spoilers for September 21-25, 2020, tease Sami playing fair, Kristen getting the short end of the stick, and so much more!
With Allie (Lindsay Arnold) back in town – and furious at her mother for her interference – Sami (Alison Sweeney) at first doubles down on her efforts to maintain custody of her grandson. However, when the opportunity for compromise presents itself, she does acquiesce.
Though Sami’s still not thrilled at the thought of Nicole (Arianne Zucker) raising the baby, she does hand him over – but on the proviso that Allie also resides in Nicole’s apartment. That way biological mother and child will at least spend time together (and hopefully bond) – and isn’t that what Sami wanted all along?
Finding a solution to this family proves to be one of the final acts in Salem for now for the former Father Eric (Greg Vaughan) while he is still stateside. Afterward, he and Nicole make the rounds and he issues goodbye to friends and family before setting off for the Congo and the village that so desperately needs his assistance.
Despite convincing Victor (Jon Aniston) to back up his confession, Brady (Eric Martsolf) is told that the newly re-elected District Attorney, Melinda Trask (Tina Huang), will not accept his plea.
Instead, Trask lets it be known that she intends to throw the book at Kristen – but her vitriol has just as much to do with Kristen killing Haley (Thia Megia) as it does her assault on Victor.
In other Salem news, Marlena (Deidre Hall) gives Claire (Isabel Durant) a warning about Jan (Heather Lindell), Xander (Paul Telfer) attempts to manipulate Miss Spears to his own advantage, and Shawn (Brandon Beemer) is none too pleased to find Belle (Martha Madison) in Philip’s (Jay Kenneth Johnson) arms.
Meanwhile, Abigail (Marci Miller) makes plans for her future, and Gwen (Emily O’Brien) continues to plot against her rival…and she’s going to get some help, courtesy of Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay), her partner-in-crime.
Also, Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) struggles to face his new normal without Ciara (Victoria Konefal) while Lani (Sal Stowers) struggles to forgive Eli’s (Lamon Archey) betrayal.
Finally, Bonnie (Judi Evans) pulls a surprised Justin (Wally Kurth) in for a kiss, and he confides the incident to Jack (Matthew Ashford). Days of our Lives airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
