Days of Our Lives is the only soap that will be showing all-new episodes the entire summer and it looks like it’s going to be a doozy. The soap was originally scheduled to be pre-empted for the Summer Olympics and professional tennis, but those things have been canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Since DAYS tapes so much in advance, it has plenty of episodes to last into the fall, so if you want all-new soapy drama this summer, Salem is the place to be.

We’ve already had four proposals, so that means there are going to be four weddings — but which ones will actually go off without a hitch? That’s the ultimate question but there’s more than just weddings to watch out for.

Days of our Lives History

DOOL made its debut in 1965 and is one of the longest-running daytime soap operas in American history. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, five decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in and wanting more.

From Stefano DiMera’s (Joseph Mascolo) evil schemes to Victor Kiriakis’s (John Aniston) one-liners to the epic love story of Bo (Peter Reckell) and Hope (Kristian Alfonso), DAYS knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more with newer pairs like Lani and Eli. Sadly, times are shifting and daytime soap operas are shrinking.

Bringing the Drama
