The truth about Paulina Price’s (Jackée Harry) plans for the square come out as construction begins. Imagine Abe Carter’s (James Reynolds) horror when he realizes he was duped into signing off on this permit. He was blinded by lust and now the town pays the price.
Heartbreak ensues as Paulina’s crew dismantles some very important history and town keepsakes, including the Horton plaque. Watching the legacy get torn apart brings tears to all the onlooker’s eyes. This is not what Salem is all about.
DAYS spoilers hint Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) is also hit with terrible news. Ciara wants him to sign the divorce papers and cut ties once and for all. She swears this is it and it is over for them.
Ben tries to get his wife to see the light. He is still very much in love with her and he knows she feels the same. Maybe not now, maybe not yet, but it will all come flooding back when her memory returns. Until then, no signature from him. Ben is holding out hope for his fairytale ending.
DOOL made its debut in 1965 and is one of the longest-running daytime soap operas in American history. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, five decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in and wanting more.
From Sami Brady’s (Alison Sweeney) crazy schemes to Victor Kiriakis’s (John Aniston) one-liners to the epic love story of John (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena (Deidre Hall), DAYS knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more. Fans love their daytime soap operas and the excitement in Salem is non-stop.
It is one of four soap operas currently on the air. The other three daytime dramas include General Hospital (GH), The Young and the Restless (YR), and The Bold and the Beautiful (BB).
