Days of Our Lives spoilers for Wednesday, January 8, 2020, promise a day of surprising moves with bombshells dropping on some of your Salem faves. You’re not going to want to miss a moment of this explosive episode!
Nicole (Arianne Zucker) is tired of seeing Brady (Eric Martsolf) tied up in knots over Kristen’s (Stacy Haiduk) manipulation of his emotions and ties to her. She decides to take the bull by the horn and fix what she sees as broken.
So how does she do this? In typical Nicole fashion, she lies to Kristen about her relationship with Brady. Apparently, Nicole has never heard the old adage, don’t poke the sleeping bear. But poke she will and get ready to watch the fireworks afterward because this is one DiMera who will not just sit back and take it.
Speaking of a DiMera (okay, only by marriage but still) who will not sit back and just let life happen to her, we have Gabi (Camila Banus). She tries to cover her tracks with Eli (Lamon Archey). She knows what kind of smack she’s been dealing out and if he gets wind of anything she’s done, she knows she will not only lose everything — but so much worse.
Lani (Sal Stowers) has turned to Kristen for so much that has gone on with Gabi but now she finally decides to open up and turn to someone else — and that someone else is her ex-lover, JJ (Casey Moss). Lani confides in JJ, who offers his help.
Considering it wasn’t that long ago (okay, a little longer because of the year time jump) that Gabi saved JJ’s life, is he really going to be ready to turn on her? Or does Lani not confide everything to him? This should be a great conversation, however much she decides to unload.

Kate (Lauren Koslow) can be accused of a lot of things (and they’re usually all accurate), but one thing no one can accuse her of is not loving her family. Of course, sometimes that love comes in actions her family wishes she wouldn’t engage in.
Case in point — she warns Will (Chandler Massey) about Evan (Brock Kelly). Will has already been trying to detach from his husband and let Sonny (Freddie Smith) go on with his life now that he’s stuck on the inside for having killed his mother.
Will Kate just sit by and let her grandson give up? Have you just met Kate? Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
