It’s a miraculous day in Salem when John (Drake Hogestyn) opens his eyes. He is awake and alert, but is he stable? Teasers show there are complications and his near-death experience takes yet another turn.

Emotions run high and John has a long, hard road before his life gets back to normal, if it ever does. The coming weeks will take a toll on John and Marlena (Deidre Hall). The hits just keep on coming and their lives and family will spiral. Let’s hope their marriage is strong enough to pull through.

Eli (Lamon Archey) and Lani (Sal Stowers) also suffer through tough times. His betrayal cuts her deep and she wonders where his loyalties lay. They are both people of the law but shouldn’t promises between each other come first? He vowed to keep Kristen’s (Stacy Haiduk) return to Salem a secret but went rogue instead.

Will this be a scar on their happy marriage? Eli may not have a happy life after angering his happy wife. Plus, we know how much Lani likes to hold a grudge.
