The Days of our Lives spoilers for October 5-9, 2020, tease Tripp proclaiming his innocence, Eli doing his best to get the goods on Kristen, and so much more!
When questioned by Lani (Sal Stowers), Tripp (Lucas Adams) vehemently denies Allie’s (Lindsay Arnold) allegation of rape. In point of fact, he claims that the two of them were never even intimate during that long-ago night in London.
In the aftermath of his interrogation, Tripp makes a beeline for Nicole’s (Arianne Zucker) apartment where he confronts Allie and demands an explanation for lies.
Amidst increasing pressure from Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) to ensure Kristen’s (Stacy Haiduk) imprisonment – lest his wife is outed for her hand in the suspect’s initial flight from justice – Eli (Lamon Archey) agrees to surreptitiously record a conversation between himself and Ms. DiMera.
To further his goal, Eli packs a tape recorder and heads over to Kristen’s room at the Salem Inn. Once there, he plays on Kristen’s sympathies regarding the strain placed on his and Lani’s marriage as a result of her arrest. This leads Kristen to let down her defenses, and she begins to discuss the circumstances surrounding Victor’s (John Aniston) attack.
In other Salem news, Bonnie (Judi Evans) attempts to gain Justin’s (Wally Kurth) forgiveness, Claire (Isabel Durant) gets to know the new Titan intern, and Jake (Brandon Barash) shares a moment of connection with Kate (Lauren Koslow).
Meanwhile, Philip (Jay Kenneth Johnson) realizes that Xander (Paul Telfer) has been plotting against him. And while he sets about making mysterious phone calls, Xander gets the boot from Victor (John Aniston)… again!
Finally, Jack (Matthew Ashford) and Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) have an emotional talk, and Vincent (Michael Teh) reveals Ciara’s (Victoria Konefal) ultimate fate to Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) and Hope (Kristian Alfonso).
