Days of our Lives spoilers for Wednesday, August 26, 2020, reveal major players facing life-changing and life-ending battles. Ciara’s husband turns into a madman, Rafe hears an ugly truth from his father, and Sami makes a bombshell play in court.

Days of our Lives Spoilers Highlights

Eduardo (A Martinez) is back, but not for long. He’s out of prison, mixed up with some bad people, and here to save his family. Not even his son’s police commissioner status will help them now. They all need to run.

Rafe does not react well to the news — or to his felon father breaking into his home. He worked hard to get where he is and having to leave it all behind is a devastating thought. This will not be a warm welcome home or a heartwarming reunion.

A Kiss Changes Everything

Unaware of her father’s return, Gabi (Camila Banus) has some drama of her own to sort through. She and Jake (Brandon Barash) are from two different worlds but they do say opposites attract. Of course, Jake having Stefan’s face doesn’t hurt, either. Rumor has it these two are going from frenemies to lovers this week, starting with a hot and heavy kiss.

Ben Goes Batty

Meanwhile, Ciara (Victoria Konefal) is in for the fight of her life against the man she loves. Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) is completely off the rails and back to his serial killer ways. Ciara pleads for her life, Ben’s love, and their future together. Will her words break through the brainwashing spell?

Make sure to grab your popcorn for these intense scenes. Ben’s murderous instincts kick into high gear, but somewhere deep down, there is a complete and wholesome love fighting its way to the surface. This is truly a fight of good versus evil.

Sami Stands Alone

Over at the courthouse, Sami (Alison Sweeney) faces the judge, without a lawyer. The meddling grandma must answer for her actions. Does she truly have the upper hand as Allie’s next of kin? Or will Allie’s farewell letter take precedence? The note is not legally binding but surely, the judge will take the mother’s wishes into account. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC.
