Monday, August 24, 2026 – Episode #15450
Chanel (Raven Bowens) and Johnny (Carson Boatman) introduced their daughter to Paulina (Jackée Harry), Marlena (Deidre Hall), EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel), and Theo (Tyler Joseph Andrews). They basked in the glow of their baby girl as they revealed her name: Olivia Alexandra DiMera after Mama Price (Marla Gibbs) and Lexie (Nikki Crawford). EJ gave Abe letters for him and Theo from Lexie. Abe and EJ grieved together for a moment. In the letters, Lexie reminded Abe and Theo of her love for them and the precious time they spent together. Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) and Steve (Stephen Nichols) were there for Abe. Paulina had a special moment with Abe after she learned of Lexie’s passing. Theo and Abe arrived home to see the Christmas in July decorations still up, adding to their heartbreak. Marlena hypnotized Cat (AnnaLynne McCord) again, and it worked. Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) agreed to move in with Brady (Eric Martsolf), but in a separate room with her and Victoria (Angelica Nero). Later, Sarah filled Xander (Paul Telfer) in on her new living situation. Xander seemed pleased and even invited Sarah to join him and Victoria at the Daddy-Daughter dance. Alone, Xander unleashed his anger on a stress ball, splitting it in half. Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) told Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) he was confirmed in the poker game in Monte Carlo. Gabi announced she was coming with him. Philip argued about it with her. Gabi insisted it was the only way she would transfer the money for him. Philip reluctantly gave in to her demand. They kept the poker game plan from Xander and Kate (Lauren Koslow). Javi (Jacob Martinez) informed Gabi that Gus (Michael Ocampo) had moved out and broken up with him. Gabi defended Gus and advised Javi to stop avoiding his feelings for Leo (Greg Rikaart). Javi went to the Brady Pub and told Leo that Gus moved out. Belle filled Marlena in on the latest with the Italy trip and the chessboard clues playing out in real time. Marlena revealed Stefano (Joseph Mascolo) played a similar game with her and John (Drake Hogestyn) 25 years ago. Belle declared she was doing this for her parents and promised she would be safe. Alone, Marlena flashed back to the Sleeping Beauty Pillow Stefano sent her back in the day. Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) ran into an upset Stephanie (Abigail Klein). They argued over Joy (AlexAnn Hopkins) and Theo and got nowhere. When Stephanie went home, she got an eyeful of Shawn (Brandon Beemer) and Jada (Elia Cantu) making out after he surprised her with a nice dinner. Stephanie rushed out. Jada told Shawn that romantic time needed to stay in the bedroom. Alex found Stephanie in the hallway and wanted to talk, suggesting that Jada watch Kelsey (Lena and Mira Chase). Stephanie shut him down, declaring Jada wasn’t an option, and walked away. Later, Theo found Stephanie alone in the park at night. Ari (Vico Escorcia) moved into her dorm with help from Aaron (Louis Tomeo). They were playing video games when Holly (Ashley Puzemis) showed up. Ari left for her internship at DiMera. Holly was happy that Aaron and Ari were spending time together. Holly ran into EJ in Horton Town Square. EJ was taken aback at her coldness. Holly declared she was furious at what he was doing to Titan and revealed the Kiriakis estate had been sold. Alone, EJ called to find out who bought the estate. After an awkward moment with Paulina, Johnny came clean to Chanel that he knew Lexie was dying and that she was in the DiMera tunnels. Channel told him she understood. Later with Paulina, Chanel admitted it made her wonder what else Johnny was hiding. Johnny fought with EJ over all the secrets and lies. Ari overheard Johnny keep mentioning Holly bu,t never said what EJ did to her. Paulina got an earful from Theo about Abe when she asked how he was doing. Theo told Paulina to ask Abe himself if she was concerned. Alex had Bonnie (Judi Evans) babysit Kelsey so he could surprise Stephanie with an overnight trip to Chicago. Stephanie lied to Alex, saying she spent the night with her parents, not Theo, and she felt guilty about it. They were getting ready to go to Chicago when Bonnie called with news that Kelsey was sick with an ear infection. They were bummed, but Alex promised Stephanie he would make more time for her.

Xander and Sarah packed up the Kiriakis mansion. They bonded over how Victor (John Aniston) would feel about Xander’s actions lately. Holly arrived and told them about her run-in with EJ, revealing she hadn’t told him she knew he had framed her. Sarah confronted EJ at the DiMera mansion. Then she gloated about Gwen taking the hospital from him. EJ laughed at her. Sarah warned EJ the Kiriakis’ would get revenge. Ari told Kate and Holly what she overheard Johnny and EJ talking about at DiMera. Holly immediately called Xander with the news. Sarah and Xander wondered how to use the information. Jack offered Kate a job at The Spectator. Steve and Jack spent some brotherly time together. Marlena filled Steve in on Belle and Chad’s trip to Italy as well as Stefano’s chessboard mystery. They thought Dr. Rolf was behind the game, but since it was Stefano, he could have been in cahoots with literally anyone. Steve told Marlena it was good that Belle was heading to Italy, and she was doing what John would have wanted. Marlena gave Belle the coin she found at John’s grave to take to Italy. EJ questioned Chad about the trip. Chad didn’t divulge any information. EJ pressed him about the chessboard, but Chad wasn’t talking. Belle and Chad prepared for their trip later that night. EJ had a bottle of champagne delivered to Marlena’s as a parting gift for Chad and Belle with a card that read “Bon voyage, EJ.”
