What to Watch
The mystery surrounding the chessboard Stefano (Joseph Mascolo) left John (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena (Deidre Hall) heats up and is a must-see. EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) suddenly has an interest in it, which leads him to meddle in Belle (Martha Madison) and Chad’s (Conner Floyd) Italy journey. The fact that the three of them are being watched and that Marlena is surprised by a memory only makes this mystery even more intriguing.
Speaking of Marlena, she’s once again a very popular lady, and that’s always entertaining. Xander (Paul Telfer) and Marlena are a pure joy to watch, so her offering to help him is exciting. There’s also Paulina (Jackée Harry) turning to Marlena in her time of need, which is likely about Abe (James Reynolds).
On the couple front, Chanel (Raven Bowens) and Johnny (Carson Boatman), Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Sarah (Linsey Godfrey), and Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) and Stephanie (Abigail Klein) are also don’t-miss for different reasons.
Johnny having to face Chanel’s question over loyalty is intriguing and will no doubt put him in a tough spot. Sarah and Brady’s mounting suspicions make us curious, especially if they have to do with EJ, and they likely do. Stephanie and Alex finding some common ground is good as well because their fighting is not fun to watch at all.
Last but not least, Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier), doing what he does best: causing trouble, is also not to be missed. The guy is all over the place thanks to the Titan drama, making him so enjoyable to watch.
