Earlier this month, Days of our Lives star Judi Evans experienced a horrific loss when her son, Austin, 23, passed away. Now, the actress is reaching out to the daytime world and her many supporters who’ve expressed concern and sent the performer and her husband, Michael, sympathy, and support.
“I just want to take a moment to thank everyone for the tremendous outpouring of love and support and prayers….Michael and I have been very touched and uplifted,” Evans posted on her official Twitter account. “Much love to all…..”
Former Days of our Lives actress Tamara Braun (ex-Ava; ex-Kim/ex-Carly, General Hospital) posted words of support for her friend. “I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your son Austin,” Braun wrote. “My deepest heartfelt love and condolences for you and Michael.”
Earlier this week, Wally Kurth, who has played Evans’ leading man on DAYS, Justin, since 1987, tweeted support for his co-star. Kurth kept his message simple, and it’s felt throughout the soap opera world: “We all love @TheJudiEvans.”
As previously reported, Evans’ son, Austin, passed away on December 13. Soap Hub joins the daytime community in its support of Evans and her husband, Michael, and their families at this difficult time.
