As we enter the last month of 2019 and look forward to the start of 2020, there are many signs that time is moving quickly and none more apparent for soap veteran Brandon Barash that seeing his daughter, former General Hospital star Harper Barash (ex-Georgie), wracking up yet another childhood milestone.

The actor, who played Stefan O. DiMera on Days of our Lives (and is rumored to be returning) and Johnny Zacchara on GH, where Harper’s mom, Kirsten Storms plays Maxie, revealed the news to his Instagram followers over the weekend — along with the most adorable picture of Harper presenting the evidence.

“Somebody just lost her first tooth…and I’m losing my mind with how fast said someone is growing up. The tooth fairy brought her silver dollars…just like my dad — I mean, the tooth fairy — used to bring me. Circle of life. #daddy #daughter #love #toothfairy”

Keeping Tradition Alive
It has been two years since the actor lost his father, Jerry Barash, and it’s a sweet tribute that he’s keeping his father’s tooth fairy tradition alive for his own child. Now that she’s fastly approaching birthday number six, coming up next month on January 7, he better stock up on those silver dollars.

As for Barash’s Days of our Lives future, rumor has it that he will be heading back to the soap but in what role, no one knows. Pictures did leak out of him visiting the set but were quickly removed — and in the meantime, his “widow” Gabi (Camila Banus) has been wreaking havoc. Then, he also turned up in 54th-anniversary celebration photos, that were NOT removed.

Stefan appears to be most sincerely dead, but in Salem, where Dr. Rolf (Will Utay) resides and wants nothing more than to please his DiMera boss, anything is possible. Will Barash return as Gabi’s great love or will he simply resemble him and be playing a new role? Stay tuned to find out.
