On Days of our Lives, both Roman Brady and Kate Roberts demanded that Tripp Johnson spill about whether or not he still loves their mutual granddaughter, Allie Horton.
Days of our Lives Polling
Allie (Lindsay Arnold) called them off and begged Tripp (Lucas Adams) for forgiveness. But Tripp isn’t quite ready to go there. Is he right? Here’s where almost 2,000 voters stand:
DOOL: Oopsie-Daisy
So Allie made a mistake, so what, 59% of you shrug. It’s not like it’s the first time. Remember how she accused you of rape? Yeah, that was fun. And you forgave her then. So she slipped up and slept with her best friend. These things happen. Especially in Salem. Be the bigger man and show Allie that you are the doormat she first fell in love with. Who are you to judge, after all?
Days of our Lives: Never Forget
Forgiveness is one thing, 27% parse, forgetting is another. Of course, Tripp should forgive Allie. You know girls can’t be held responsible for their actions. That was made clear to him when he had a little trouble getting over that whole rape accusation thing, and the majority of Salem explained that he was in the wrong. But he doesn’t need to forget. Or take Allie back. As he said, he’ll never be able to believe he’s really the one she wants to be with now.
DAYS: End of the Road
Only 14% of the audience believe that sleeping with someone else is a pretty good reason for breaking off an engagement. Even if it had only been less than an hour since he slipped the ring on Allie’s finger. She cheated on Tripp, then she lied to him about it. He not only shouldn’t be able to trust her anymore, but he also shouldn’t be able to love her, either. This couple had one of the weirdest meet-cutes in history. Did anyone really think it could work?
