Should Kristen Pay For Kidnapping Sarah on Days of our Lives?

It looks like Kristen DiMera’s kidnapping of Sarah Horton is about to come to light on Days of our Lives. Especially now that Sister Mary Elizabeth…well, Mary Beth Evans’s Kayla Brady Johnson and Father Nichols…well, Stephen Nichols’s Steve Johnson, are on the case – and all but winking directly at the audience.

So once she’s found and returned to Salem – while Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) and Gwen (Emily O’Brien) deal with the fall-out, should Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) pay for her crimes? What almost 2,000 judges see in her future:

Heck, yeah, Kristen should pay for having Sarah (Linsay Godfrey) kidnapped, 80% of you cheer. And for all the other crimes she’s committed, too. The woman isn’t just a kidnapper, she’s also a killer, a blackmailer, an embryo-stealer, and a rapist. So, yeah, throw the book at her for this offense. Then keep dragging her to court for the rest of them, too. And, keep in mind, this is a DiMera. She has multiple lives. So multiple life sentences would not be remiss.

Days of our Lives: A Run, Run Runaway

Kristen is way more fun on the run – nun costume or no nun costume – 12% of the audience reminds. What a waste it would be to have her in jail – again. We’ve already seen the crocodile tears over being parted from Rachel and the conning of Susan Banks into taking Kristen’s place. Kristen in the wild means anything could happen at any moment. We’ll be perenially on the edge of our seats, wondering whose life she’ll swoop in to ruin now.

Family Legacy

DiMeras don’t go to jail, 78% of fans are pointing out. It’s not going to happen, so why even entertain what might be. Because it won’t be. She’ll get out of it somehow, i.e. the ‘But I’m a Mother’ Defense. Nobody has the right to take a mother from her child. No matter how many other mothers she’s done the same thing to.
