Actress Nadia Bjorlin is happily expecting her second child.
Her daytime alter ego, Chloe, just gave birth to a baby girl, after serving as a surrogate for Nicole and Daniel (Shawn Christian). And, of course, Chloe already has a son, Parker, from her previous marriage to Daniel.
It leaves the Days of Our Lives writers with a dilemma. Do they hide Bjorlin’s burgeoning belly for the next several months or script in another surprise pregnancy for Chloe? Soap Hub asked fans to share their thoughts on the matter.
No, Chloe Doesn’t Need Another Child
More than half of you, 56%, do not want to see Chloe expecting, again. She just delivered Holly a few months ago. It’s time for the character to move on in another direction. Chloe hasn’t had a real romance in years. She’s a beautiful vibrant woman, and there are certainly plenty of single men in Salem. Perhaps she could embark on a romance with Dario (Jordi Vilasuso), her ex Brady (Eric Martsolf), or a newcomer to town.

Yes, Write It In
Some 35% of you are all for Bjorlin’s Chloe having another baby. You love it when real life pregnancies are written onto soaps. Besides, attempts to cover them up never work anyway. Story wise, the turn is perfect, too. You’re already anticipating how sad Chloe will be when she eventually loses custody of Holly to Nicole (Arianne Zucker). The prospect of having a baby of her own would help soften that blow.
On the Fence
The remaining 9% of you don’t know how you feel about the possibility of Chloe being with child, again. On the one hand, she just gave birth. But, on the other, if a compelling story could be penned about her pregnancy, you’d be all for it.
