Should Rolf Quit Bringing Dead People Back To Days of our Lives?

The undertakers on Days of our Lives must be very sad people. Nobody stays dead! (So, we assume, families are constantly asking for their money back.) Some come back of their own accord.

But, for years now, the primary Christ figure (it’s a resurrection joke) has been Dr. Rolf (Will Utay). Got a dead loved one? Or a dead nemesis? Dr. Rolf Will bring them back to you, good as new, with maybe just a touch of amnesia, but, otherwise, better than ever!

Has this gone on too long and gone too far? Should DAYS quit it with Rolf, the crutch? What over 5,000 viewers would like to see happen:

A Step Too Far

A majority 75% of you were OK with The Phoenix returning just like clockwork, with John (Drake Hogestyn), Marlena (Deidre Hall), Roman (Josh Taylor), Steve (Stephen Nichols), and Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) cheating death over and over again. But that’s it. No more.

SteVano pushed you over the edge, and you weren’t too thrilled with Princess Gina (Kristian Alfonso). Now that you have your favorites back, and everyone else can just stay dead. It’s not realistic, you know?

One Exception For Rolf

OK, a smaller 17% of the audience concedes, we’ll allow Rolf one more cadaver cure: Bo (Peter Reckell). Bo would be OK. Because you really miss him. And Bo might be the only thing capable of bringing Hope back to Salem. And, of course, if you’re doing Bo, can we talk about Ciara (Victoria Konefal)….

Happy Endings

They may have been in last place, but 8% are the true optimists. You love the idea of Rolf always being around because it means that no one can ever be really dead. Isn’t that a happy thought?
