SHOCKING Days of Our Lives (DOOL) Audition Tape: Could It Be An EJ Recast?

A Days of Our Lives (DOOL) audition tape is making its way around social media for a role named “Gabe” but character names are often masked for auditions, offering fake names.

In this scene from 2014 between EJ and Chad, the young actor reads EJ’s part, using the name Krystal for Abby.

In the scene, “Gabe” apologizes for sleeping with “Krystal” but warns the other character (we assume Chad) not to interfere with him getting his family back (Sami and the kids).

While the actor auditioning doesn’t have James Scott’s accent, characters who have originally had accents have been recast with actors without accents before. Since this is a soap, we just have to suspend our disbelief, right?

Of course, this actor might really be auditioning for a brand-new character named Gabe and the show could be using this old scene for its dramatic impact.

Guess we’ll just have to wait to find out. Watch the four takes in the video below.
