Serial Killer? So What? Are Days of Our Lives Fans Lovin’ Ben?

Days Of Our Lives may well have this summer’s most surprising leading man.

Ben (Robert Scott Wilson), the serial killer. Ben, the serial killer who saved Ciara’s (Victoria Konefal) life. Ben, the very cute serial killer with the puppy dog eyes and the ‘aw, shucks, who me?’ smile. And the six-pack abs.

There is a lot to love about Ben, serial killing past aside. Ciara has certainly seen splashes of it. But what about you? Does your summer loving for 2018 include Ben?

For 77% of you, Ben is exactly what the doctor ordered – and not just because Marlena (Deidre Hall) signed off on his being fit to return to society. Ben is a classic DAYS romantic hero, the bad boy reformed by the love of a good woman.

Right, Hope (Kristian Alfonso)? Right, Kayla (Mary Beth Evans)? Even Grandpa Doug (Bill Hayes) was a bit of a ne’er-do-well, back in the day (albeit without the body count). In Salem, good girls know that bad boys are just hurt and misunderstood. They need love to make them whole – and even hotter. Ben is currently halfway there.

On the other hand, 21% of the audience is getting tired of repeating the same two words over and over again: Serial. Killer. Ben is one. His abs are impressive, yes, but they don’t excuse everything else he did. (Neither does mental illness; that’s only for golden child, Abigail; trailer trash Ben gets no such consideration.)

Not only are you not loving Ben, you want him off your screens – and out of Ciara’s life – as soon as possible.

Etc…
And then there are the 2% who aren’t sure yet and are still making up their minds… even as one voter finds Ben way too smug, considering his precarious position.
