Sami I Am(i): What Happens When She Leaves Days of Our Lives Again?

Sami may have been born on Days of Our Lives, and she may have grown up in Salem from scheming teen to… really scheming adult.

She became a mom in front of your eyes, she became a grandma. And she said, “I do”… more than once. But, lately, Sami (Alison Sweeney) has been spending more time outside of town, outside of the entire country, than she has been at home.

She returned when Will (Chandler Massey) came back from the dead. She returned for John (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena’s (Deidre Hall) wedding. And now she’s in deep in trying to find EJ, and she just may have done it.

Whether or not Sami is reunited with the love of her life or not, odds are she’s still going to leave town again. If only because she left Johnny, Allie, and Sydney in Europe… alone. (With Aunt Carrie?)

Salem without Sami is dull, dull, dull, 85% insists. (And keeping her from you is mean, mean, mean.) No one stirs up trouble like one-half of the Brady twins, and, for some, Sami IS Salem.

Not only do you want to get the same answers about EJ as Sami does, but Will needs his Mommy, Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) is going to need his older daughter – especially when his younger one turns out to be his niece, and Eric (Greg Vaughan) needs the sister who always makes him look good in comparison!

A Little Goes a Long Way
That’ll do, Sami, that’ll do, a minority 15% of contradict. She’s fine in small doses, but too much of Sami isn’t so much too much of a good thing as it is…too much Sami. Bringing her in for one story at a time is better. It gives you a chance to catch your breath between visits.
