Lani (Sal Stowers) knows Paulina much better than Abe does, and 68% of the audience believes he should listen to his daughter. Lani knows that Aunt Paulina is stubborn and bold, and opinionated – and that she doesn’t stick around for long.

We don’t know what happened to Chanel’s (Precious Way) father, but Lani likely does. And she certainly doesn’t want Abe ending up the same way. Especially if it’s about real-estate development and not real affairs of the heart.
