Who remembers a Days Of Our Lives (DOOL) when Hope was a rebellious teen, dating bad-boy Bo, while Daddy Doug fumed and stepmother/half-sister Julie (yes, they are) fretted?
Now it’s Hope’s (Kristian Alfonso) turn to fume – while on-again, off-again consort Rafe (Galen Gering) frets.
Because, on this version of DOOL, it’s Hope’s daughter, Coara (Victoria Konefal) who is dating a bad boy – so, okay, so Ben (Robert Scott Wilson), as a serial killer, is a wee bit badder than Bo, who was primarily scruffy – and Hope is losing her mind.
Yes, Ben killed a few people. But he was sick. He’s better now. It’s the same thing Abigail (Marci Miller) is claiming, and most of Salem is tripping over themselves to tell her how that excuses all of her actions completely.
We’re Going On a Bear Hunt
Take a chill pill, 88% of you are dropping a note in the suggestion box. Marlena (Deidre Hall) thinks Ben is safe to walk amongst civilians. And Gabi (Camila Banus) is the only one on the Abigail-Is-A-Killer train.
So, you two should pull back on the Ben harassment. The man risked his own sanity to rescue Ciara and keep her from dying by the side of the road. That should count for something, no?
Stay the Course
Serial Killer, 12% remind those whose mind it slipped. S-E-R-I-A-L K-I-L-L-E-R. What kind of mother would not be freaked out?
Ben is fine now, but what happens the next time he can’t get to his meds on time? Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) was right to clonk Ben over the head; strike first, ask questions after. Hope and Rafe should be walking behind him always, ready to strike another blow.
