Roman and Anna: Reunited And It Feels So Good — Or Does It?!

When Anna first showed up on Days Of Our Lives (DOOL), she was the last woman you wanted to see in Salem.

Roman (then-Wayne Northrup) and Marlena (Deidre Hall) had just fallen in love, and a presumed dead wife — plus their daughter (even if she was played by the tiny and adorable pre-Full House Andrea Barber) — was NOT good news.

But then time passed. Viewers grew to love Carrie and, as soon as Anna (Leann Hunley) made it clear she was no longer interested in Roman and fell for Tony (Thaao Penghlis) instead, they grew to love her, too.

Well, now it looks like Anna and Roman (now Josh Taylor who, the first time around, was playing Chris — just go with it) are gearing up for round two. What say you now, 13,000 viewers?

Isn’t Is Romanna-tic?
Yes, cheer 52% of you! We never got to see Roman and Anna fall in love the first time. We only heard about it, after the fact. This is a second chance for them… and for us. Marlena and Roman are done for good. And so are Anna and Tony (we think).

They have their daughter, Carrie (Christie Clark) in common, and maybe more. Sure, Anna is carrying Tony’s ashes around in an urn in her purse and may have killed Andre with it. But what’s a soap opera relationship without a few hiccoughs?

Say What, Now?
Yeah, about that urn, and the whole killing Andre thing, caution an almost equal 47% of you. Anna is a suspect in a murder investigation! Roman lied for her! These are not good things. And they are not likely to end well.

Yes, Anna is Carrie’s mother, and Roman should be looking out for her. But falling in love with her again is a whole other kettle of fish (those belong in the kitchen of the Brady Pub).
