Sonny and Carly weren’t always the happily married buttinskys they are today on General Hospital (GH). At one time, Carly was played by Tamara Braun (now Kim) and Sonny shot her just as she was about to give birth to their son.
Ok, so it was an accident and Sonny was trying to shoot Lorenzo Alcazar and missed. But Carly still had to go through labor with a bullet in her head–and ladies, you know how had labor can be when not shot five minutes earlier.
In the end, mother and son survived–well, at least Morgan made it to young adulthood before being blown to bits by Julian’s exploding car, but that’s neither here nor there.
