Robin Strasser Reveals Her Days of Our Lives Set Secrets

We’ve known for months that Robin Strasser is joining the cast of Days of Our Lives. Now, the actress herself tells us when we can see her pop up as Vivian Alamain as she pinch hits for a friend.

Strasser tweeted that she’ll start airing on DAYS in early September. The actress began her soap career as Iris on The Secret Storm, but she shot to stardom as Rachel on NBC’s Another World.

After a stint on All My Children as Christina, Strasser hopped over to One Life to Live where she was cast as Dorian Lord, the role that won her a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series.

While DAYS has not officially confirmed Strasser will be playing Vivian, reliable sources tell us that’s exactly what role she’ll take on.

In fact, Louise Sorel (ex-Vivian) posted on Facebook that she was unable to return to DAYS for a stint and pointing out that the character has been briefly recast.

In addition to thanking co-star Melissa Reeves (Jennifer) for tips on where to hide her script once taping started, Strasser also heaped praise upon Mary Beth Evans (Kayla) for her professionalism and leadership.

Joining DAYS reunites Strasser with former OLTL head writer Ron Carlivati, who is now DAYS’ top scribe.
