REPORTS: Louise Sorel BACK On DAYS As Vivian Alamain???

It’s hard to forget a character who steals embryos and buries women alive, among other out-of-this-world things, so why wouldn’t Ron Carlivati try to resuscitate Days of Our Lives (DOOL) with just such a woman?

Yes, rumor has it that DAYS plans to bring back Louise Sorel as Vivian Alamain, crazy aunt to Lawrence.

She was the one who buried Carly Manning alive back in the 90s and gave birth to Philip when she stole Victor and Kate’s embryo.

While the last we heard of Viv she was off with sidekick (love of her life?) Ivan (Ivan G’Vera) making Bollywood movies, a visit back to Salem would offer some welcome comic relief after the dark two years fans just experienced.

Sorel created the role of Vivian back in 1992 and played the role on and off until 2011, when she moved to India with Ivan.

Before that, Sorel was known as Augusta Lockridge on the now-defunct Santa Barbara.

While Sorel’s return is unconfirmed, reports say the soap plans to bring back quite a few old faves for short stints, something that’s either hit or miss in the soap world. Sometimes it looks like a gimmick, while other times it moves
