It’s been one year since Bo died in Hope’s arms on Days of Our Lives. He was Hope’s forever hero and Salem’s forever hero and his life touched many.
This week, his three siblings visited his grave for the anniversary of his death, while Hope (Kristian Alfonso) languishes in jail for killing Stefano–thinking he was the one responsible for Bo’s death.
Soap Hub asked which of Bo’s non-romantic relationships you loved the best, especially with his various bromances.
Out of about 5,500 votes, 84% of you miss the friendship between Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Bo (Peter Reckell) the most. After all, before Bo met Fancy Face and Steve met Sweetness, they were best friends in the Merchant Marines.
Sure, they fought over a woman (Britta), and Bo accidentally knocked out Steve’s eye in a knife fight, but they got over it and it was Steve who helped bring Bo back to Hope for his last day on Earth last fall.
A much smaller 10% of you love the brotherly bond between Bo and Roman (Josh Taylor). You still remember when Roman was played by Wayne Northrop and allegedly died in Bo’s arms on a beach.
One may have been the oldest sibling and one the youngest, but that did not mean that there wasn’t a friendship there that would last the ages.
The final 5% loved watching Bo interact with John. For a time, Bo even thought John was Roman — at least when everyone else (including John) thought he was Roman.
That helped them develop a friendship that lasted decades and the chemistry between Reckell and Drake Hogestyn is one you won’t soon forget.
