EJ DiMera Loses His Temper When Stabi Reveal Their Dirty Move

On today’s Days of our Lives, EJ DiMera plays right into Gabi and Stefan’s hands and endangers his top spot at DiMera Enterprises.

Days of our Lives Recap Highlights

In addition, Sloan (Jessica Serfaty) put Colin (Jasper Newman) on notice, Paulina (Jackée Harry) gave Chanel (Raven Bowens) a heads-up about Jada’s (Elia Cantu) suspicions, and Talia (Aketra Sevillian) pulls the wool over her sister’s eyes. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into what exactly happened.

Days of our Lives: EJ DiMera Gives “Stabi” What They Want

With Stefan (Brandon Barash) momentarily out of his office, Gabi (Camila Banus) took the opportunity to sit in his chair and think back on better days, days when she was the CEO of the company.

Stefan soon joined her, and the two groused about the fact that he’s forced to share the CEO title with EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) when it should be him and Gabi running the show. Speaking of EJ, Stefan and Gabi noted his tardiness, and the latter penned yet another scathing report to the company’s board.

Once EJ finally deems to make an appearance, he begrudgingly shares that he spent the morning tending to Nicole (Arianne Zucker), who was all well and good. Thank you for asking, Gabi.

With that out of the way, Stefan pointedly reminded EJ of the damning evaluation that Nicole wrote, then provided him with a copy of said evaluation — heavily edited by him and Gabi — and Gabi’s own on EJ’s performance.

EJ’s castigation of the two for their subterfuge was interrupted by a phone call from Wei Shin (Clyde Kusatsu). He’d read Gabi’s missive, and he wasn’t pleased — and no amount of EJ’s insistence that it was a smear campaign could convince him that what was on the page was anything but the truth.

Wei floated the idea of EJ taking anger management courses, and EJ responded by shouting that he’d show Wei anger management and throwing his phone against the nearest wall.

Days of our Lives: EJ DiMera Realizes He Blew It

Realizing immediately that he’d committed quite the faux pas, EJ attempted damage control, but Wei refused to take his call.

A triumphant Stefan and Gabi thrilled at EJ’s predicament, sneered at him, and then decided to take their leave. Their next stop? A celebratory meal!

EJ DiMera tells Nicole about the fake report on Days of our Lives.

Later, EJ showed Nicole the report, and Nicole realized that Gabi had gotten into her computer while she was at the hospital. Nicole vowed to rewrite the report, but EJ worried that they couldn’t determine which report was true and which was a lie…Nicole touched her stomach and looked a bit sick at that.

DAYS Recap: Tough Love

Sloan barreled her way into Colin’s motel room and demanded to know just what exactly her baby brother was up to — not that she hadn’t already rumbled the truth.

Colin offered that the less Sloan knew, the better off she’d be, but Sloan griped that because of her brother’s machinations, she was in the frame for harassing Paulina and Chanel — and that was something that she wasn’t going to let stand.

Sloan Petersen and Colin.

Sloan granted that she understands Colin’s motivation. He wants to see justice done for their mother and father; that’s all Sloan wants as well. But the way Colin has gone about things has put Sloan in quite a predicament. Scratch that. He’s made her life “a living Hell.”

And besides that, what more could Colin possibly want? After all, he’s got Chanel’s bakery shut down. He’s killed her dream. Isn’t that enough? Colin insisted that it wasn’t. Far from it. In fact, “that’s just the beginning.”

Realizing that she was failing to make any headway, Sloan left Colin with some food for thought. “If the police come looking for me again, I’m going to tell them it’s you — the truth.”

DOOL Recap: Sister Act

Elsewhere, the local cop shop, to be precise, Jada worried Rafe (Galen Gering) to death — metaphorically speaking, of course — about creep “Colin Firth” and the connection that he may or may not have to Talia.

Deciding that she needed answers on the double — answers that only her sister could provide — Jada set about calling Talia…and calling Talia…and calling Talia.

Unbeknownst to Jada, her call went unheeded due to Talia being on top of Chanel. Chanel suggested that the two of them retire to her bedroom, and Talia, despite herself, agreed.

But before they could proceed down the hallway, Paulina came in bellowing for her daughter. Immediately sensing that she’d interrupted something sapphic, Paulina attempted a graceful exit — fat chance! — but it was Talia who decided to bid the women adieu. Besides, she had Jada to deal with.

Talia Hunter confronts her sister Jada.

With that goal in mind, Talia headed downtown and confronted her sister head-on. Color Talia shocked when Jada demanded to know who Colin was and what Talia was doing with him.

Thinking fast on her feet, Talia turned on the waterworks and spun a story about Colin being her old beau from New York, whom she stooped to sleeping with the night the biscuit dough was dosed.

Jada took Talia at her word and felt awful for prying. Talia felt awful for lying but kept up the pretense. Afterward, she headed for the motel, where she caught Colin packing, but upon hearing that Chanel was falling hook, line, and sinker for Talia’s seduction, Colin spun a story about merely tidying up his room.

Chanel Dupree and Paulina discuss Talia.

Meanwhile, Paulina confessed to Chanel that Rafe and Jada had momentarily suspected Talia of being behind the threatening messages, the druggings, and the vandalization of Paulina’s office. To that, Chanel huffed and puffed and insisted that she’d know whether or not Talia was the one out to get them.

Days of our Lives Recap: Compounding The Lie

Having realized that Eric (Greg Vaughan) hadn’t heard her setting a date for a paternity test, Nicole breathed a sigh of relief.

When Eric pried as to what was bothering Nicole, she sold him the same line about going through early menopause. Like EJ before him, Eric said that the way Nicole was talking, she was making it sound like a serious issue. [Ain’t that just like a man?]
