After being cooped up in an airport-bound car with his father — allegedly — and getting nowhere with Dr. Wilhelm “I’m Conditioning Stefan O., Not Brainwashing Him” Rolf (Richard Wharton) — a verifiable fact — the last thing that Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) wanted to hear was that his ladyfriend had hired Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) at DiMera Enterprises.

Equally disconcerting is the idea that he may lose his beloved to a literal zombie. So, what’s Li to do but get a jump start on the walking dead by getting down on one knee and popping the question?

DOOL Recap: Homing Beacon

Speaking of that thing that once was deceased, Stefan is now up and running around Salem, thanks entirely to an impatient Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk). She thought, nay hoped, that Stefan would make a beeline for Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin), but instead, he headed for his kin and kind…AKA the passed DiMeras littering the family crypt.

Over martinis, they discussed the disastrous board meeting that EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) called, Ava’s supposed mental health issues, the estrangement between Eej and Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman), and Anna even offered a brief rundown of Kristen’s most recent shenanigans.
