The DAYS spoilers recap for Tuesday, September 6, 2022, features a sound argument, a solid foundation laid, and a wee bit of sorrow.
Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) was fit to be tied when Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) was nowhere in sight — and since Sloan Peterson (Jessica Serfaty) was, Rafe took all his anger out on her. Just like a man.

Sloan gave as good as she got, and practically dared Rafe to follow through on his blusterous threat to slap some cuffs on; she would relish fighting this out in court.
Luckily for Rafe — though not so for Leo — he (correctly) deduced that Leo was probably bound for Sonny Kiriakis’s (Zach Tinker) hospital room and made tracks. Sloan, in turn, phoned her client and warned him to get gone. But does this make up for her initial betrayal of him?
The good news: Leo convinced Sonny that he wasn’t a present-day Salem Slasher. The bad news: Sonny has no idea who actually stabbed him. Still, it is nice to have your supposed victim on your side.
The hits just keep coming for Jennifer Rose Horton Deveraux (Cady McClain). The most recent slap in her face: Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) going the extra mile of hiring Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) a lawyer.
And though Jennifer swore that she totally understood why her husband did what he did, her voice and face belied her quaking anger.
Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) and Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) decided to get married posthaste, or, more succinctly, post-afternoon delight. And what better place to do the deed — the wedding, not the lovemaking — than the Horton living? Jack was all for it; Jennifer too — and this time, she really meant what she said.
Maggie Horton Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) was called upon to join the assemblage not as a guest but as the officiant because, Lord forbid, she just gets to sit and enjoy watching her daughter swap vows with her beloved.
Surprisingly for ‘Xarah’ in general, and Days of our Lives in particular, the ceremony went off without any major hitches — though the groom was delightfully stunned into forgetting his well-rehearsed speech. The only bit of doom and gloom was Gwen walking in after the deeming had wrapped, but even that couldn’t bring the happy couple down.
