The DAYS spoilers recap for Tuesday, September 20, 2022, proves that turnabout is most certainly fair play, and that one good (or bad) turn deserves another.
After having a wee think, Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) was more convinced than ever that Craig Wesley (Kevin Spirtas) is the one running around knifing people and trying to frame him for the crime.

For her part, Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) needed more convincing — aren’t doctors supposed to heal people and only do good in the world, she wondered, conveniently forgetting the doctor who blackmailed her into becoming his personal drug mule — and Leo happily obliged.
Once she was thoroughly swayed, Gwen had two options: help Leo out of his predicament and see that justice was truly done or rat out Leo to the authorities and have him hauled downtown. She chose to do the latter.
Speaking of Craig…the man himself is back in town and less than thrilled to learn that his ex-wife is engaged to Clyde Weston (James Read). Yeah, Nancy Miller (Patrika Darbo) could do better. A lot better.
On the outside, Jennifer Rose Horton Deveraux (Cady McClain) is cool, calm, and collected. On the inside, she’s a seething cauldron of rage and disenchantment. As per usual, Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) is none the wiser. Is it any wonder that she has thrown her sobriety out the window?
While Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) is still struggling to wrap her head around Stefan O. DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) return from the dead, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) got over his shock at seeing his brother live and in the flesh pretty quickly and went right back to hating his guts.
Speaking of Gabi…she was in for quite the gut punch when Stefan — with a gloating EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) following close behind — waltzed into her office and announced that he’d official requested the return of his shares in DiMera Enterprises. At least he had the decency not to tell her right away that he and his brother were planning to oust her from the top spot at the company.
There’s only one thing that we know about Abigail’s (Marci Miller) killer and Sonny Kiriakis’s (Zach Tinker) would-be assassin — they smell of delicious vanilla. You know who else smells of delicious vanilla? CRAIG WESLEY!
