The DAYS spoilers recap for Tuesday, October 4, 2022, prove that family is king, that you can indeed go back home again, and that sometimes the past is better left in the past.
Having taken it upon himself to blackmail *ahem* suggest that it would behoove Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) to cough up a million dollars that would be divided (probably unfairly) between him and his bestie, Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) then made himself at home at the Horton family stronghold. This did not please Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes), not the least of which because Leo scarfed down most of the donuts that she’d prepared for her hubs.

Opposite this, Jennifer Rose Horton Deveraux (Cady McClain) paid Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) a visit and apologized for running her down like a dog. Gwen was suitably impressed; even more so once Jennifer insisted that she was ready, willing, and just about to turn herself in to the proper authorities.
Since Gwen is trying her darndest to be a good person, she decides to let Jennifer off the proverbial hook, then rakes Leo over some not existent coals for the stunt he pulled with her father. What on Earth was he thinking?! What part of Gwen is trying her darndest to be a good person escaped him?
They know one another inside and out, and have seen each other at their best, and their worst, but that’s still no basis for Nancy Miller (Patrika Darbo) and Craig Wesley (Kevin Spirtas) to get back together again — especially when it would be a marriage in name only. Good for them for coming to that conclusion together.
Mike Horton (Roark Critchlow) is back in town, and Julie and Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) couldn’t be more thrilled. Well, they could. His return could have been under much better circumstances. As it stands, he’s come back to visit some dead family members’ graves and take his little sister off to rehab; hardly good times.
Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) is in want of a job, and Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) is drowning in work that she can’t get accomplished — not to mention she’s got Paulina Price Carver (Jackée Harry) breathing down her neck — so the twosome decides that they should pool resources and help one another out. It’s really a win/win…as long as Chad doesn’t screw anything up.
