The DAYS spoilers for Wednesday, October 5, 2022, tease an unfortunate update, a tearful goodbye, a proposition, and so much more. You won’t want to miss a minute of this all-new episode.
DAYS Spoilers Highlights
Marlena Evans Black (Deidre Hall), Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow), and Kayla Brady Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) are dying. Slowly and painfully dying. Their only hope lies in the restorative powers of a very special, some might say magic orchid that, according to Rex Brady (Kyle Browder), has been extinct for a decade or two.
This fact does not bode well for anyone. Not the three women dying slowly and painfully, not their husbands, children, and various other loved ones, and certainly not the fans who adore them.
But hope springs eternal. Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) just so happens to have that much-in-demand orchid — well, her crazed, on-call scientist has it, but why quibble? — and she’d be more than happy to hand it over…just as soon as Marlena does her a big ole favor. What? You thought that Kristen would actually be altruistic, did you?
DOOL Spoilers: Parting Is Such Sweet Sorrow
It’s time for Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) and Jennifer Rose Horton Devearux (Cady McClain) to bid one another adieu, and no, it isn’t because he’s running out on her though, given past events, you’d be forgiven for thinking that.
Instead, Jennifer has made the decision to check herself into a Boston area rehabilitation clinic conveniently run by her older brother, Mike Horton (Roark Critchlow), and rather than temporarily decamp to B-Town — where he owns and operates a newspaper — Jack is staying put to…take care of Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien)? Or maybe to raise Chad DiMera’s (Billy Flynn) neglected children? See to it that Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) finds a job suited to his *ahem* skillset? One or a combination of any of those must be the reason.
Days of our Lives Spoilers: Try, Try, Try Again
Having tried, and failed, to blackmail Jack for some easy cash, look for Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) to turn his ill intentions towards former paramour Craig Wesley (Kevin Spirtas). Will he manage to charm his way back into his ex’s good graces? Probably not, considering the last time they spoke, Leo accused Craig of being a stone-cold killer. Then again, stranger things have happened on this soap.
